Cider Mill

Most of the equipment in our cider mill dates between 1870 and 1910, and its a real treat to operate it every fall!

Custom Cider Pressing

Apple pressing occurs on Saturdays during the month of October. We press apples by appointment only! Please call Laurissa at (845) 586-2707 or email to schedule a time.  A minimum of 5 bushels is needed for a pressing. Visitors are always welcome when we are pressing.


We charge per gallon of cider pressed. We encourage customers to bring their own clean containers. If you don't have your own containers, please let us know at the time of scheduling so we can make arrangements. 

Price per gallon and cost of containers may be provided at time of scheduling.

The quantity of juice varies with the type and quality of apples, but a bushel will produce somewhere between 2 to 4 gallons of juice.  On average, 5 bushels will yield about 15 gallons of fresh cider (apple juice).
